The Forest Department has opened a Nature Park at Babeli in Kullu district. It is the first park in the district which has a musical fountain, waterfall and many other things for children. The park is developed close to National Highway-21, a few kilometres away from Kullu toward Manali. A must-visit destination if you want to just sit in the lap of nature; the sounds of birds chirping and the gushing waters of Beas are often the only sounds heard here. Babeli is also a popular spot for river rafting, but is not included in most Kullu Manali tour packages. Park timings: 6 am to 6:30 pm
